Recently, The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen contacted us about creating a series of videos to help launch their new Endowment 2025 campaign to raise $4 million over the next four years. This group protects and monitors 11,000 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Foundation has an amazing 50 year legacy of being authentic environmental stewards. Their team fosters collaborative onsite research with multiple institutions and then translates that research into environmental education programs for all ages. Additionally, they use this research to safeguard the natural beauty of the surrounding community. 

Over the last few weeks, we have worked closely with Nature Foundation’s staff and board to develop storyboards, scripts, and shooting several days of onsite video. We have worked with them to capture their story so that everyone understands the important services they provide not only to Wintergreen residents but to the surrounding community and to the research community at the national level. Video is a compelling and engaging communications tool, especially with people not traveling as much during the pandemic. The Foundation’s video transports you to the serene wilderness without having to leave your home. It combines the authentic passion of real people with the grand vision of the Foundation. And it makes the case for why it is so important that they continue their mission through 2025 and beyond.
